Join EF Academy for its inaugural Global Leadership Symposium! This will be an opportunity to hear from our students about their Global Leadership projects after a year-long course. Students have applied the Stanford D-School Design Thinking Process to develop an action project aligned with one of the seventeen UN Sustainable Development Goals, aimed at solving an important issue or meeting a community need. 

Projects range from education and advocacy campaigns, to innovating solutions to pressing problems, and developing new inventions and products. Specific student projects include the creation of reef-safe sunscreen, research on creating a more eco-friendly electric battery, and executing an educational podcast, website, and animation to educate younger audiences about diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

EF Academy opened their first ever speaker series with Dr. Laurie Santos, celebrated Yale psychology professor with the #1 Course at Yale, “Psychology and The Good Life.”

At EF Academy, Dr. Santos led an in-person session entitled, "The Science of Well-Being for Teens", and shared what psychology teaches teens about how to be happier, less stressed and thrive in high school and beyond.
