To support your learning experience, all students at EF Academy must have their own laptop that meets our technical requirements.* This ensures that your device works with the tools and software used in class and gives you what you need to complete your coursework.

· While tablets (such as iPads) are useful for some tasks, they cannot run all required classwork software. Therefore, they are welcome as a complementary device, but you must also have a full laptop meeting the specifications above.
· Desktop computers are not appropriate for use in a classroom setting. Therefore, if you would like a Desktop computer for gaming or other resource-intensive tasks, there is no problem with this, but it must be in addition to the full Laptop as described above.
· We encourage you to review these requirements carefully and make arrangements for your student's technology purchase before the start of the academic year. Having the correct equipment from day one will greatly assist in their smooth transition and academic success.
