Choose a pathway

At each of our schools, students pick between two academic pathways: the local curriculum (American or British), and the International Baccalaureate.

IB Diploma

All three campuses

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is regarded as one of the world’s most broad and complete preparations for university study. Students take classes across six subjects as well as three mandatory Diploma Program Core courses: Extended Essay; Creativity, Activity and Service; and Theory of Knowledge.

U.S. High School Diploma with AP courses

New York and Pasadena

The American pathway gives students the freedom to explore widely and go deep as they choose including a selection of Advanced Placement (AP) courses. The U.S. High School Diploma program is well-suited for students focused on passing courses with a high GPA and preparing for the TOEFL/IELTS exams and the SAT.

British A-Levels

Available in Oxford

A-Levels are the traditional route into British universities. Students choose three or four subjects directly related to their future plans and study them in depth.

They also participate in the IB’s Creativity, Activity and Service Program, and may optionally design and execute an independent research project to earn an Extended Project Qualification.
