As Head of School, Lisa is committed to creating an environment where every student feels known, valued, challenged, and cared for. She believes deeply that each member of a school community has the ability to make a difference. By working together, with curiosity, compassion, courage, and a shared sense of purpose, we create an educational experience that can truly transform lives. 

Lisa brings extensive experience in education, school leadership, international programming, and operations to her role as Head of School at EF Academy New York.  Before joining EF Academy, Lisa served for four years as Director of Operations for EF Language Travel in North America, overseeing international summer programs across the United States and supporting thousands of students as they experienced language learning, cultural immersion, and life away from home. Through this work, including leading programs on the Thornwood campus, she developed a deep understanding of EF’s mission, its students, and the transformative power of international education. 

Prior to joining EF, Lisa served as Head of School at Notre Dame Academy in Worcester, Massachusetts. Throughout her career, she has committed to building strong school communities, supporting educators, and developing student-centered programs. Lisa is especially passionate about encouraging students to recognize their unique gifts and use them to make a meaningful difference in the world. She believes that education is at its most powerful when students feel a genuine sense of belonging and understand that their voices, choices, and contributions matter. 

Lisa holds both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in business management. Outside of school, Lisa enjoys traveling, photography, reading, event planning, and spending time with her husband, Dan, their family, and their two dogs, Mia and Bianca.
